Since 2006, The Enrichment Classroom has been offering premium enrichment classes for young learners of ages 18 months to 6 years.
In 2018, we launched the first Childcare @ The Enrichment centre in Jurong West Sports Centre, which serves to prepare children for their transition to Primary School by incorporating all our enrichment classes into our daily curriculum, hence allowing for more family time in the evenings and weekends.
We understand that children learn most efficiently through hands-on activities — which is why our curriculum has been specially crafted based on thematics, enabling them to maximise their learning abilities. We create a joyful, affirming and conducive environment that incorporates songs, rhymes, field trips, and learning centres. This inspires curiosity, creativity, and exploration as they advance.
In relation to children’s everyday experiences, this approach is adopted based on their exploration and interactions with their environment — at home, in school, within families, cultures, events, and more. By harnessing their curiosity, we create opportunities for them to explore, experiment, discover, create, and learn about the world around them.
We understand the pivotal role that language and literacy development plays in early childhood education, and as such, we make it a top priority to foster these crucial skills. Our approach involves nurturing children’s ability to communicate effectively through speaking, reading, and writing — providing ample opportunities for them to interact with their peers.
To cultivate numeracy in children, we foster a deep understanding of different concepts and skills through meaningful methods in their daily lives. Our educators bridge existing knowledge with new concepts through purposeful learning activities in the real world. We also prioritise hands-on activities that empower them to come up with their own understanding, and to identify connections between numeracy and other learning areas.
